Diane Smith, the speech and language therapist at Word Smith Speech and Language therapy, attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio for her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders. She then attended West Virginia University and graduated with her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. Following that, she obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) while working at a Private Practice for children in Chambersburg, PA. Currently, she works as a tele-therapist for a school district while seeing clients at her Private Practice, Word Smith Speech and Language Therapy.  

Currently, Word Smith Speech and Language Therapy is offering Online and in-home services, all in the comfort and convenience of the client's home! 

The options for Speech and Language therapies include tele-therapy via Zoom or the Speech Therapist (Diane Smith) traveling to the client's home to provide evaluations and treatments. 

In Person services are provided in South Western, PA! More specifically located in  Westmoreland County, including these areas (and not limited to):  Export, Murrysville, Delmont, Monroeville, Plum, Penn Township, Greensburg, Irwin, and more! 

Online Services can be provided in all of PA! 

The cost of Speech and Language Therapy at Word Smith Speech and Language Therapy  varies based on the type and length of services provided. We offer competitive pricing. We also offer options for clients' to be reimbursed by their insurance.  Payment is accepted through cash, check, debit card, HSA account, and  Credit Card*. Please contact us for more information on our fees and payment options.
